LSC Sanitation offers a closed circuit television (CCTV) surveying system to monitor the condition of sewer pipes. Our CCTV monitoring can identify blockages and deterioration and determine the effects of gas corrosion on ceramic sewer mains and concrete or cast iron pipelines. This innovative solution counters the need for exploratory digging and can prevent costly repairs by identifying problems early. This information can be used to determine cleaning schedules and maintenance requirements.
CCTV can also be used to monitor the following:
- Correct installation/connection of underground piping
- Infiltration of ground water
- Blockages or sumps in the line
- Root damage
- Collapsed drain lines
All jobs are completed using a robotic camera that, depending on conditions, can extend up to 600’ from the point of entry.
When the surveillance is completed LSC Sanitation provides a full written report with pictures and a DVD of the project.
